What affects your quotation?
Your inventory, route, packing, access and timing determine the work to be priced. Provide the same information for every quotation you compare.

Compare complete quotations
Start by checking whether two quotes describe the same shipment. Compare the inventory date, assessed volume, packing scope and both addresses. A cheaper quote based on a smaller inventory is not an equivalent offer.
Then compare the responsibility at each stage. Ask whether origin handling, international transport, destination handling and residential delivery are included. Establish which charges remain conditional, are payable separately or cannot yet be determined.
- Record the quoted currency, validity period and payment schedule.
- Ask what happens if assessed volume or the service scope changes.
- Check any storage basis, handling fees and redelivery scope.
- Ask how waiting time and difficult access would be treated.
- Review applicable protection arrangements separately from the transport price.
A worked scope comparison
This example illustrates how to compare scope; it is not a price quotation. Suppose one offer includes packing and delivery inside your home, while another describes transport between handling facilities. Compare the missing collection, packing and residential delivery work before judging the totals.
Likewise, if you may need storage, ask both providers to explain the same storage period and redelivery requirement. Keep unresolved charges visible rather than assigning them a zero value.
Why our volume tool does not show a price
The calculator measures item volume. The inventory picker multiplies supplied per-item estimates by your quantities. Neither knows the complete route, packing plan, access requirements or service arrangements for your shipment.
Use those outputs to prepare a clearer enquiry. A shipment-specific assessment is needed before pricing. Destination duties, taxes and other requirements should be checked for the actual move rather than inferred from a general estimate.
